The candle is made from 100% vegetable wax with a wick of pure cotton. It is biodegradable, hypoallergenic and contains no pesticides. In 1643, Claude Trudon became the owner of a store on Rue Saint-Honoré where he developed his business as a candle manufacturer. His candles was bought by both parishes as well as private households. Hence, in the beginning of Louis XIV's reign, Claude Trudon created a company that would lay the base for his family's fortune.
