With forged chrome molybdenum steel cutting blades, latch design for quick single handed operation, color-coded, bi-material grips for slip resistance, this tool allows you to cut steel with ease. This product meets or exceeds ANSI standards. Automatic unblocking of the lock/seal by simple pressure. Chrome plated nuts and bolts. Cuts up to 18 gauge mild steel 0.7 to 1.2mm. Exceeds ANSI standards for cutting performance and durability. Made from forged alloy steel for strength and durability. Permanent identification plate for the direction of cutting. Serated cutting edges prevent slippage when cutting. Suitable for cutting aluminium, sheet UPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic. Toothed blades favouring the holding of the sheet metal during cutting. Twin spiral spring for increased longevity
